Father files negligence lawsuit after son dies in Sallisaw police custody

The father of a man who died after allegedly being left unattended in the back of a Sallisaw Police Department vehicle has filed a civil negligence lawsuit against the City of Sallisaw, a police officer and police lieutenant, alleging their actions directly led to his son’s death.
