SMA awarded $1,457,143 loan for wastewater system upgrades

The Sallisaw Municipal Authority (SMA) received approval Tuesday for a $1,457,143 loan with 100% principal forgiveness from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) to improve the city’s wastewater infrastruc- ture. Construction of upgrades and improvements to the wastewater system will be financed by the Oklahoma Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF).
