A constitutional republic
Dear Editor,
Our government is a constitutional republic, not a democracy In a democracy, all decisions are made by 51% and the other 49% have no rights.
A constitutional republic consists of laws made by the people that appear to be just and righteous for everybody Then we have a democratic way of selecting our representatives (popular vote) to take a sworn oath to uphold and defend the constitution of the USA.
Their job is to represent the people of the USA, in accordance with the constitution. T...
