SNAP benefits to be suspended Nov. 1
Due to federal government shutdown
Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) has been notified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) that federal funding for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will be suspended beginning Nov. 1. Currently, more than 684,600 Oklahomans rely on SNAP benefits to supplement their family’s monthly food purchases.
