Haskins deployed to Middle East

Sallisaw resident Staff Sergeant David G. Haskins has deployed to the Middle East with the 745th Military Police Detachment of the Oklahoma National Guard in support of Operation Spartan Shield.

Haskins, a Military Police Investigator, graduated from Sallisaw High School in 2017 and served six years active duty in the U.S. Army at Joint Base Lewis-Mc-Chord in Washington. He then joined the Oklahoma National Guard as a MP at Camp Gruber and volunteered for the deployment.

Ssgt. Haskins is the son of Dave Haskins and Sandra Downs, both of Sallisaw.
