Arkansas men begin season with home win over Southern

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Trevon Brazile recorded his 11th career double-double, scoring a career-high 25 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, while freshmen Darius Acuff Jr. and Meleek Thomas combined for 43 points to lead 14th-ranked Arkansas to a 109-77 season-opening victory over Southern on Monday night at Bud Walton Arena.
