Golden Hurricane routs Oklahoma Christian in season opener

Tulsa controlled the paint against Oklahoma Christian University of Science and Arts in a 100-57 victory Monday night at Donald W. Reynolds Center, grabbing 61 rebounds and scoring 50 points in the paint. The 61 boards tied for the ninth most in program history and were the most in a game since Dec. 12, 2004, against Prairie View A&M.
