Arkansas women beat Louisiana Tech in new coach’s debut

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A 15-point early deficit was just a speed bump for Arkansas in winning new coach Kelsi Musick’s debut 93-81 over Louisiana Tech in the season opener at Bud Walton Arena on Tuesday night.

The Razorbacks (1-0) opened the Musick era ice cold and trailed 17-2 in the early moments of the first quarter, making just 3-of-15 (20 percent) shots in the first quarter while scoring just 10 points.
