Cowboys pin loss on Stanford in season opener

STILLWATER – The No. 5 Oklahoma State wrestling team defeated No. 19 Stanford 33-7 to open its 2025-26 season Friday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
The Cowboys won eight of 10 bouts, collecting bonus points in six of them. With the win, the Cowboys improved to 1-0 on the season, while the Cardinal dropped to 0-2.
True freshmen Landon Robideau (157 pounds) and LaDarion Lockett (165) stole the show as the newcomers faced former All-Americans in their first collegiate matches.
