Razorbacks defeated at Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State opened the second half with a 9-3 run, grabbed a 45-42 lead and held off a late Arkansas charge to win 69-66 on Saturday night at Breslin Center.

The No. 22 Spartans (2-0) turned the tables on the No. 14 Razorbacks (1-1) in the second half, shooting 45.6 percent from the field and holding the Razorbacks to just 28.6-percent shooting. In the first half, Arkansas shot 50 percent from the field while the Spartans made just 37.8 percent.
