Tulsa women storm past Prairie View A&M

TULSA — Tulsa women’s basketball team efeated Prairie View A&M 79-59 on Sunday night at Donald W. Reynolds Center, with a 40-22 advantage in paint points.

Abby Jegede produced a career-high 29 points off 9-of-16 field goal shooting, including 2-of-3 from deep and 9-of-10 from the free-throw line.

Dora Toman led the Golden Hurricane (2-0) in the rest of the statistical categories, finishing with 14 boards, five assists, three steals and two block shots.
