Systemic discrimination still harms

Dear Editor, There is no excuse for communities like Sequoyah County to continue receiving thousands of dollars less in public resources than our neighbors across the state line. When counties just minutes apart live in two entirely different worlds of opportunity, something is deeply wrong, and it’s time we call it what it is: systemic discrimination that still harms our families today.
