City receives reliability, safety awards

The Municipal Electric Systems of Oklahoma, Inc. (MESO) has recognized the City of Sallisaw’s electric department with two awards in the association’s annual Electric Operations and Reliability Competition. The department earned first place in reliability and outstanding achievement in safety in the association’s “cities under 10,000 population” category.
