Gibsons celebrate 60 years
New Years Day is one of new beginnings for everyone but 1966 was particularly special for the Gibsons. Rick, a young Marine, came home on leave to marry the love of his life, Pat Baldwin. Rick and Pat exchanged vows and a new family was begun. In 1967 they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Angie and she was joined in 1970 by their son Rob. In time they became the proud grandparents of Aspen Gibson and Nora and Carissa Halverson.
60 years later they celebrated at an anniversary dinner with family and friends. After they cut the cake, Pat and Rick danced to ‘Never my Love’ by the Association. It was evident to everyone who watched them dance that the love that brought them together all those years ago is still there bright and undimmed by time. May they have many, many more anniversaries to celebrate.
