Greek storyteller Aesop, who lived during the 6th century B.C. said, ‘United we stand, divided we fall.” Someone said, “We must all hang together or we will all ‘hang’ separately.” (In the gallows.) Mark 3:25 ‘And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” Also, in Matthew 12-25 “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.”
