Fishing Report for March 4

EUFAULA: Feb. 27. Elevation is four feet below normal and stable. The water temperature is 38 degrees and stained. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass fair on Alabama rigs, buzz baits, crankbaits and plastic baits around main lake, points, riprap and rocks. Blue, channel and flathead catfish fair on cut bait, dough bait, shad and stinkbait around channels, river channel and river mouth. Crappie fair on crankbaits, hair jigs, minnows and spoons around brush structure and docks. Report submitted by Jake Rowland, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.
