ORU defeats UMKC in conference tournament

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — Three Golden Eagles finished in double-figures as the Oral Roberts University men’s basketball team moved onto the first round of the Summit League Tournament with an 84-62 win over the Missouri-Kansas City Kangaroos on Wednesday night.

The Golden Eagles (10-22) were slated to meet the top-seeded North Dakota State Bison on Thursday night.

ORU had three players score in double figures, led by Ty Harper, who had 22 points and three steals.
