Keep on truckin’

At 76 years old, Mike Mouzakis of Sallisaw still remembers the long days and quiet nights of life on the road as a professional truck driver. More than 30 years ago, while waiting for loads and watching trucks move through the yard, he found inspiration for a story that would later become his children’s book, “Pete: A Story of Loyalty and Love.”
