Fishing report for March 11

EUFAULA: March 6. Elevation is 3.5 feet below normal and rising. The water temperature is 58 degrees and stained. Largemouth, smallmouth and spotted bass good on Alabama rigs, crankbaits, flukes, jerk baits and lipless baits around channels, points, riprap and rocks. Blue, channel and flathead catfish good on chicken liver, cut bait, dough bait, live bait, live shad and shad around channels, the main lake, the river channel and the river mouth. Black and white crappie good on crankbaits, hair jigs, jigs and minnows around docks, riprap and rocks. Report submitted by Jake Rowland, game warden stationed in McIntosh County.
