Local golfers compete in Muldrow Girls Invitational
WISTER — The Sallisaw Lady Diamonds, the Roland Lady Rangers and the host Muldrow Lady Bulldogs kicked off their 2026 golf seasons by playing in the Muldrow Girls Invitational, which took place Tuesday at Wolf Mountain Country Club.
The Lady Rangers had a complete team of six golfers who hit the links. They finished with team score of 706.

Adriana Moya had the best round for Roland with a 136, followed by McKinna Cooper with a 140, Landyn Ramey and Laynie Roedenbeck with a 143 each Becca Cox with a 144. C.C. Pearson, playing as an individual, carded a 143.
The Lady Diamonds had a trio of golfers tee off in Tuesday’s event as Chloe Nelson shot a 136, followed by Eleanor Milteer and Jamie Kidwell with 142s.
The host Lady Bulldogs had a pair of golfers who competed in their own tournament as Genna Stephenson carded a 134, with Teanna Bark a shot back at 135.
All the female golfers will be idle until after Spring Break.
