Signs of spring

The weather-predicting groundhog must not have been considering Oklahoma when he forecast six more weeks of winter. The jonquils have responded to the recent unseasonably warm weather and rains. Overlooking U.S. 59, this abandoned house — bleak, dark and bereft of hope — stands in stark contrast to the vibrant, lively and colorful jonquils overtaking the yard.
