Tulsa finishes 14th at Mountain View Collegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Tulsa women’s golf team finished in 14th place on Sunday at the 54-hole Mountain View Collegiate with a final score of 892. The Golden Hurricane carded its best round of the tournament with a 6-over par 294 score at the par-72 Preserve Golf Club.

TUCSON, Ariz. — The Tulsa women’s golf team finished in 14th place on Sunday at the 54-hole Mountain View Collegiate with a final score of 892. The Golden Hurricane carded its best round of the tournament with a 6-over par 294 score at the par-72 Preserve Golf Club.

Sophomore Grace Kilcrease turned in a 40th place finish with a score of 221 after Sunday’s 1-over par 73, while junior Sydney Seigel had a round of 74 and finished with a 222 score for 45th place.

Jenni Roller placed 61st overall with a total score of 227 after a round of 75. Redshirt freshman Allyn Stephens finished in 67th place with a score of 229. Graduate transfer Sirah Steinhoff turned in the best round of the day for the Hurricane with an even-par 72 but finished at 232 in 74th place for the 54 holes.

Tulsa’s fellow American Athletic Conference member South Florida captured the team title with a 16-under par score of 848. Texas A&M (852), Houston (860), Iowa State (863) and Arkansas (863) rounded out the top five teams.

Tulsa will be in action at North Texas University’s The Bruzzy, which will take place March 30-31 at Ardmore’s Dornick Hills Country Club.
