Hiawatha K. Newton

as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Air Force. He was a distinguished graduate from Pilot Instructor training, Squadron Officer School, Advanced Pilot Training, Tactical Airlift Instructor School, and Quality Assurance and Evaluators Course. His significant achievements have been; USAFE AMOCC Field Grade Officer of Year, USAFE Field Grade Officer of the Quarter, Below-the-zone to Major, Squadron Instructor of the year, Company Grade Officer of the Quarter, and received the ATC Quarterly Individual Flight Safety Award. Lt Col Newton is a command pilot with more than 4500 total flying hours in the T-37, T-38, C-130, and T-6 aircraft.
