500 word limit

Your TIMES welcomes letters to the editor on any subject of public interest. We do not publish letters concerning commercial disputes or those containing personal attacks. Because of space limitations, we must ask that you limit your letters to no more than 500 words. Letters longer than 500 words will be edited down to the 500-word limit. This is done so that we can publish the maximum number of letters, and everyone has equal access to the letters column. Always be sure to include your daytime telephone number and mailing address so we can verify authorship. Anonymous letters are not printed and space limitations allow only one letter per month.
