Think on these things

By Joyce Sequichie Hifler

Ideas — how common they are and how little we pay attention to them. Yet, they are often planned in detail for us to accomlish something we might not be able to do alone. This is why meditation is so important. Spending time listening for Spirit brings us out of a haze and give us the path to take and the thought to dwell on. Never say something is silly or without common sense. Even deep rest and wealth and steadiness comes from putting ouselves in neutral while we fill up with food of the Spirit. Make notes, keep a notebook that lists needs and wants (The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want...) And forget the life that is behind and reach forward to the new and ever so much happier. Life is new every day and we must keep pace.
