4 Gore thinclads medal at 2A state boys’ meet

Four Gore High School thinclads medaled in last week’s Class 2A boys’ state track and field meet at Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City.

Other tracksters from Vian and Webbers Falls also competed at the 2A and Class A meets at Western Heights.

Gore’s Liam Edwards placed fourth in the 300m hurdles and the Pirates’ 4x400m relay team (Journey Shells, Aidan Dickerson, Christian O’Connor and Edwards) finished sixth.

The Pirates placed 19th in the 2A boys’ team standings with 15 points.
