1 29oz can pumpkin puree 1 cup packed brown sugar ¾ cup apple cider 2 tsps. pure vanilla extract 3 cinnamon sticks 2 tsps. pumpkin pie spice, to taste Combine pureed pumpkin, vanilla, apple juice, spices, cinnamon sticks and sugar in large saucepan. Stir well. Bring mixture to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 40 minutes or until thickened, stirring frequently. This is thick and won’t really boil, but it will well up and explode as the bubbles pop. Stir often. Adjust spices to your taste.
