After the Bucks cut their deficit to 4-3 after three innings, the Vikings scored once in the fourth inning and three runs in the seventh inning to take a 8-3 lead.

The Bucks scored once in the eighth inning and twice in the ninth, but their rally fell two runs short of forcing a 10th inning.

Jett Frazier got the win, going the first six innings with five strikeouts. Gage Elliott went the next two innings, then Bailey Mattingly toed the rubber but did not record an out. Gilreath got the save, going the final inning.

The Vikings will return to action in a three-game weekend series against Northern Oklahoma College-Enid at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid. There will be a 5 p.m. single nineinning game today, followed by a noon doubleheader Saturday.
