Brushy students attend Camp Sevenstar

Brushy Elementary third- and fourth-grade students recently took a trip to Camp Sevenstar to attend an all-day event presented by AIRC.

The students made clay necklace beads, shot archery, learned about the bows and arrows that were used to hunt with, heard some amazing Cherokee stories, and learned about snakes in our area. It was a great day to learn about Cherokee Culture.
