Cherokee Nation donates $92,042 to local law enforcement

Cherokee Nation Districts 5 and 6 Tribal Councilors E.O. “Jr.” Smith and Daryl Legg donated a total of $92,042 to Sequoyah County law enforcement agencies on April 9. Also on hand for the event were Cherokee Nation Deputy Principal Chief Bryan Warner, Cherokee Nation Deputy Secretary of State Canaan Duncan, and Cherokee Nation Marshal Shannon Buhl. Each law enforcement agency received $9,204.
