Approves formation of campus police department

The Sallisaw Board of Education hired a new SRO (School Resource Officer) during their May 13 regular monthly meeting, while also approving the formation of a Sallisaw Public Schools Campus Police Department in accordance with the Oklahoma Campus Security Act.
