Mayfield is Regional runner-up

Sallisaw High School wrestler Cole Mayfield placed as runner-up at the 2024 Southern Plains Regional Tournament, which took place last weekend in Mulvane, Kan.

Mayfield’s second-place finish qualified him for the Junior Nationals in Fargo, N.D., in July.
